After graduating from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Dave worked at several New York studios and eventually began recording and mixing songs for producer Teddy Riley. Dave mixed a number of New Jack Swing hits for Teddy, and then moved to Los Angeles to work on Michael Jackson’s “Dangerous” album.

Dave began working with other producers, including Dallas Austin, Babyface and Antonio "LA" Reid. Working with those producers, he mixed hit records for artists such as TLC,
Boys II Men and Tony Braxton.

Dave mixed tracks from the record-breaking debut by the Spice Girls, and went on to mix chart topping records for Savage Garden, Christina Aguilara, Macy Gray, and Ronan Keating. He recently produced and mixed an album for John Doe. Says Doe: "No Dave Way, no good record. I'm serious, he is a master."

Dave built a home studio, and there he continues to mix records for a wide variety of artists.
