Matt
Hyde
After
graduating from the prestigious Berklee College of Music
in Boston, Matt Hyde toured with a variety of bands,
playing guitar and keyboards. When he'd had enough of
life on the road, Matt began working at recording studios
-- first in Boston, then in Los Angeles. He did programming
and engineering on various projects (including a few
tracks for No Doubt's "Tragic Kingdom"), and
produced small rock and hip-hop projects on his own,
including demos for a then-unknown Cypress Hill.
Matt
met Perry Farrell, and for a time not only produced
Porno For Pyros, but was a member of the band. Matt
soon realized that he was more at home in the studio
than on the stage. He resumed his production career,
and has been going strong ever since.
