Paul David
Hager
Paul
David Hager has engineered and mixed records
for superstars including Goo Goo Dolls, Katy Perry,
Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, the Jonas
Brothers, Pink, American Hi-Fi, and many more.
In his role as engineer/mixer, Paul has consistently
satisfied some of the most successful and discerning
producers in the business, including John Fields,
Rob Cavallo, Peter Collins, Butch Walker and John
Shanks.
In
addition to his work in the studio, Paul has toured
the world as a “front of house” engineer,
mixing live sound for the Goo Goo Dolls, Jane’s
Addiction, Miley Cyrus, Avril Lavigne and others.
Creating
the sound for a concert requires a different skill
set than sculpting the sonics for a record.
But Paul sees it as two sides of the same coin. His
ideal is to bring the punch and energy of a live
show into the studio, and the clarity and depth of
the studio to the concert stage. By all accounts,
Paul consistently delivers on this ambition.
